The Lions Foundation of Canada and its training facility is located
in Oakville, Ontario at the Sir James Dunn Dog Guide Training Centre,
a former elementary school. It has been renovated to accommodate
administrative offices, kennel facilities for dogs in training,
dog guide training areas, and student residence accommodations.
Breslau,
Ontario
The Foundation also maintains a breeding facility, the Leona
Hummel Dog Guide Training Centre, in Breslau, Ontario, near
Guelph. This facility includes a master kennel used as a pre-training
facility for dogs in preparation for their transfer to the Oakville
training school.
