As Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides’ key fundraiser, the Purina^® Walk For Dog Guides continues to grow in leaps and bounds and now takes place in close to 250 locations across Canada! This dog-friendly event has been inviting communities across the country to participate in a fun, 5 kilometre walk since 1985. As the largest event of its kind, the Purina^® Walk For Dog Guides is also unique in that 100% of the funds raised go directly towards providing Dog Guides at no cost to Canadians with disabilities. The event is powered by dedicated volunteers and sponsors.

The 2012 Purina^® Walk For Dog Guides was a tremendous success and raised more than one million dollars! This would not have been possible without the support of Canadians across the country and our national sponsors: Nestlé Purina Pet Care, Fido, West Jet, TwinPro Graphics, hlp+Partners and Dan’s Pet Shop.
