Scampi is a sweet and wiggly boy who can’t wait to find his forever home. He is good with other dogs and children and would happy to have a friend in the home. He has not been tested around small animals or cats. He knows basic obedience and walks well on leash with a halti. He takes some time to settle into his new home and will be quite anxious at first but if you give him a chance to settle in, he is relaxed boy who is trustworthy in the home and can be crated when needed.

Meet Hewitt! Hewitt is on the search for his new home because he needs some work on his manners and he is very strong. Hewitt would love to go to a home that has structure and one that is excited to continue his training, both in the home and in classes.

The first thing you’ll notice when you meet Hewitt is the springs in his feet! This boy has lots of go and he is ready for any and all adventures! He also has a really great nose and loves to stop and smell the roses…and grass, bushes, trees, etc. This makes scavenger hunts lots of fun for him! Set up some toys and treats in the backyard, and he will find them in record time. Hewitt is working really hard on his manners. He can be quite strong while on leash so needs a confident handler. He can also become very excited when meeting new people, and may start to mouth and jump up. He is working really hard to contain his excitement, however, sometimes it is just too much for him to handle! He really is still a puppy at heart.

Hewitt loves to learn and he is very food and toy motivated. This makes training lots of fun. He knows his basic sit and down command, but sometimes he gets too distracted. Hewitt also lacks social skills around other dogs, so he needs to be the only dog in the home. He grew up in a home that had younger children, however as he does lack social skills, he needs to go to a home where everyone in the home is at least 16 years old.

Hewitt would love to go to a home that has a fenced in yard, allowing him to run and take in all the sniffs life has to offer. He knows his perfect family is out there and he is jumping with excitement waiting to meet them!

Meet Oskar! Oskar is retiring early and looking for a place to put up his paws!

Despite being 5 years old, Oskar has lots of energy to play, walk and join his humans on new adventures. He is looking for an active home to help him live his retirement to the fullest. He is trustworthy in the home and is crate trained. He travels well in the car and would happy to take road trips with his new family. He enjoys a good game of tug and in his down time loves a stuffed Kong or a good snuggle.

He has grown up around dogs and while he enjoys playing with them he can become intense during play and, needs close supervision and a short break to help bring down his energy. He would do best as the only dog in the home or with a laid back dog who is appropriately socialized with other dogs. He has met lots of kids in the community and has done well saying hello. He has not been tested in home with small animals. Oskar knows basic obedience and can be strong on leash so we recommend using a halti or body harness.

Meet Elliot! Elliot is on the search for his new home because he is quite strong and needs some extra work on his manners. Elliot would thrive in a home that has structure, so he knows what his family wants from him.

Elliot is quite the energetic boy and often gets the zoomies! He loves to run and play and can be quite goofy! Elliot will be sure to put a big smile on your face. When he first gets into a home, he can be difficult to manage. He just gets too excited and wants to check everything out all at once. Once he has initially settled, you will have a great boy on your hands! It really helps if you have a great structure in the home. A family that has a firm schedule would really benefit Elliot as he can sometimes get confused with how he is supposed to act.

Elliot is very smart and can pick up tricks with ease. He loves his snacks, which makes training that much easier! Sometimes he can become overstimulated, so he would do best in a home that doesn’t have any young children. He may accidentally knock them over! Elliot can be strong on leash, but with some treats and extra encouragement, he will walk nicely beside you like a champ. When Elliot is not playing or out for a walk, you can find him curled up taking a nice relaxing nap until he is ready to go again. Elliot is also great with other dogs and he would love to have a furry friend in his new home if possible!

Elliot is looking for a home that is excited to continue his training and one that will set firm expectations for Elliot so he knows how to behave. With time and patience, he will show you how much of a good boy he really is and guarantees to steal your heart.

Allow us to introduce you to our sweet Zoodles! Zoodles was unable to be a service dog as she was diagnosed with Sebaceous Adenitis. Currently, Zoodles doesn’t show any symptoms, however, she could develop them in the future and it would need to be managed by a vet. Although this disease may sound scary, it is a cosmetic disease and does not affect her day to day living!

Zoodles is truly the sweetest dog you will ever meet. She has a heart of gold and is ready to share it with anyone that crosses her path. She loves to run and play outside, and especially loves it when a squirrel crosses her path! There’s nothing better than the fresh wind blowing through her curls. Zoodles loves to be with her people, so much so, sometimes being left alone can be a little scary for her. She would love to go to a home that has a flexible schedule so she doesn’t have to be alone for too long! Zoodles’ foster family would describe her as fun-loving, enthusiastic, faithful, affectionate, and of course, cute.

She is very smart and she loves to learn. Zoodles has her basic obedience training down and responds well to cues but she is always eager to learn and is hoping her new family will continue with her training. Her favourite treat is anything containing peanut butter! These treats make training a breeze. At the end of every day, Zoodles loves nothing more than snuggles on the couch with her favourite people! Zoodles prefers human company over dog company, so she needs to be the only dog in the home.

Zoodles would love to go to a home that can give her all the love and attention that she knows she deserves. In return, Zoodles promises to be loyal and shower you to her hearts content!

This is Lexi! Lexi is a beautiful girl who is available for adoption because she has demonstrated some strong dog reactivity by lunging and barking as well as some dog intolerance in off leash settings. She is looking to be the only dog in the home.

This happy girl loves to cuddle and spend time with her humans. Her favourite games are fetch and, hide and seek. She is good at using her nose when playing with her snuffle mat and treat ball. She travels well in the car. She is easy going in the house and is trustworthy when left alone. She does well in her crate once she’s settled into a home. Lexi She hoping her new home will have the perfect backyard for her to play and sun bathe in.

She has limited exposure with young kids as she grew up with teenagers. She gets excited initially and will jump up but once she has calmed down after a few minutes she does well. She would do best in a home without young children. She has no exposure to cats.

Lexi knows some basic obedience and walks well on leash in calm, low distraction environments. In very distracting situations, especially when she is dog reactive, it can be hard to get her focus so using the best, smelliest treats for training are her favourite. can’t wait to find her new best friend to cuddle with and share in all of life’s adventures!

Meet Mr. Kenzo! Kenzo is looking for an adoptive home because he needs some work on his manners and struggles being crated. He has never enjoyed being in the crate and becomes stressed when the door is closed. He will lay down in the crate on his own if the door remains open. In the home, Kenzo is a consistent counter surfer and likes to steal items he shouldn’t so he can play keep away or chew on them. He is looking for a home that can provide adequate puppy proofing and management of these behaviours, as well as someone who is home during the day.

Kenzo is a goofy, puppyish boy who loves playing with his humans. His favourite treats are stuffed Kongs although as a lab, anything edible will do. He does best with durable toys. He enjoys stuffed animals but pulling out the stuffing is the best part so they don’t last very long!

He has lived with older children and loves their attention. He’s a sucker for some good head scratches or cuddles. He gets along well with other dogs and would do well with another dog in the home or some friends to play with. He has met a cat previously and was fearful so he’d prefer a home without cats.

Kenzo knows his basic obedience and is eager to work for all types of treats. He can be strong on leash so we highly recommend a head halter. He gets excited to see other dogs on leash and is working on calm behaviour around distractions. He travels well in the car and would love to travel with his new family!

This handsome guy is Visor! Visor is a 2-year-old Standard Poodle that is looking for a new home because he’s working on his house manners. He has a history of itchy skin and is on a commercially available sensitive skin and stomach diet.

Visor is looking for a home to help him learn appropriate manners and be the best family member he can be! He doesn’t like being home alone and is hoping for a family that is home during the day so he can cuddle and be close by. He is a very affectionate boy and has a goofy poodle personality. Visor is super smart and can be a bit mischievous in the house. He knows when his humans aren’t paying attention and will investigate counters for leftover food. Besides food, he is trustworthy and laid back in the home. He does well in an x-pen when he needs a safe space to hang out and will happily sleep in his crate at night.

He is a smart dog that enjoys food puzzle toys, snuffle mats, stuffed kongs and playing soccer. His favourite snacks are salmon flavoured treats. Visor has a typical bouncy poodle play style and tries engage his humans in a game of chase. He is hoping to have lots of space to run around. He enjoys play dates with other dogs but can play a bit rough so he does best as the only dog in the home. He has demonstrated prey drive so should not be in a home with cats or small animals, and is also looking for a home without kids. Visor knows his basic obedience commands and has a good recall once he builds a bond with his new family. Playing outside is much more fun than ending play sometimes! He has excellent leash manners, is good for grooming, and does well travelling in the car. Visor can’t wait to meet his new forever family!

Introducing our handsome Collins! Collins decided that work was not for him and he is on the search for his loving new home! He is a very smart boy and loves his food and treats, making training lots of fun. He is great with his sit and down and he is currently working on his spin! He thought a career in dance might be more up his ally. Collins has a very active mind and loves to be tested. Whether that’s through a puzzle toy or a frozen kong, Collins is always waiting to keep his mind busy!

Collins can sometimes become bossy when he doesn’t get his way. If he doesn’t want to go inside after some fun in the backyard, or he isn’t ready to finish his walk, he will definitely let you know. When he gets overstimulated he will jump and bark at you and if that doesn’t work he will try to mouth you. When Collins gets like this, he is just seeing how much he can get away with! It is not mean natured, he is just a big dog and doesn’t know his own strength. Collins loves his chew toys and frozen kongs, and these are great tools to use to keep his mind and body busy! He does not do well with soft toys, they are too fun for him to pull apart!

Collins’ perfect home would be one that has dog experience and isn’t afraid to set strict rules and boundaries. He would love to go to a home that has structure so he knows what to expect! He wouldn’t do well in a home with small animals or other dogs, he knows that he deserves all the attention from his family. As Collins can become overstimulated, he needs to go to a home that does not have any children. He would love to go to a home that is excited to continue his training! Collins is such a sweet and loving boy and loves to snuggle. He promises to steal your bed at night and keep you nice and warm. With his goofy personality, he is sure to keep you laughing until your cheeks hurt. Collins knows that he can be a good boy in the right home!

Meet Rambert! Rambert is available for adoption because he has demonstrated a lack of house manners by stealing items off the counters and playing keep away, as well as some reactivity to overly excited dogs and puppies. He’s a happy boy looking for a home that can provide boundaries and help him make the right choices.

Rambert has experience meeting kids however he has shown some minor discomfort with kids petting him. We recommend he be in home with no kids or older kids who will respect his space. He gets along well with other dogs during play groups and grew up in a home with other dogs. He has shown some reactivity towards young puppies or very excitable dogs when on leash or in his crate. He would do well in a home with a dog of similar size and age (no young puppies).  He has not been tested around cats or small animals.

Rambert is a laid back guy who settles well and is good in his crate. He is good on leash and is comfortable wearing his halti. We recommend using a halti due to his size. He is eager to work for food, and knows his basic obedience. He is currently working on a reliable recall when he’s having too much fun in the yard.
