Introducing, LINCOLN!
This handsome boy is a wonderful blend of the playful, goofy personality you might expect from a
Labrador and the gentle, affectionate nature of a Golden Retriever. Lincoln is a loving companion who
enjoys being near his people and is happiest when he can be part of whatever his family is doing.
Around the house, Lincoln is an easygoing guy who is happy to settle in and relax once his needs are
met. He enjoys spending time with his people and is always up for a good cuddle session. He is
respectful of the household and has shown himself to be a trustworthy companion with good manners.
Lincoln also knows how to enjoy his toys appropriately, happily entertaining himself with a favourite soft
toy or settling in with something suitable to chew.
Lincoln is a social guy who enjoys the company of other dogs. He is happy to play and interact with his
canine friends, but he also understands when another dog has had enough and can appropriately give
them their space. He would be happy to have canine companionship in his forever home, but he would
also be happy being the center of attention!
When it comes to walks, Lincoln can be a bit enthusiastic! He benefits from using his Gentle Leader to
help with some moderate pulling and responds well to an engaged handler. Once he gets going, he is a
lovely walking companion and has little interest in chasing after squirrels or other wildlife. Lincoln is also
a great traveller and settles nicely in the car, making him a fun guy to bring along for a road trip.
Lincoln has been diagnosed with atopic dermatitis, which means his skin can become itchy during
seasonal changes, particularly in the spring and fall. He may require medication during these flare-ups to
help keep him comfortable, and his adopter should be prepared to work with their veterinarian to
continue managing his allergies.
Whether he is being silly, enjoying a good chew, soaking up some attention, or simply hanging out with
his favourite people, Lincoln is just an all-around good boy. He is looking for a family who will appreciate
his goofy Lab side, his loving Golden side, and everything in between!
