Introducing, TAMMY!

Tammy is a sweet and affectionate poodle who is looking for a loving home where she can settle in,
build her confidence, and enjoy being part of the family. Tammy is a lovely girl with a gentle nature and
a low-to-medium energy level. She enjoys spending time with her people and is happiest when she can
be included in everyday life.

At home, Tammy is content to quietly explore the yard, sniff around, or settle down and watch the
world go by. She has excellent house manners; she doesn’t get into things or isn’t looking to get into
trouble. She is very comfortable in her crate, typically sleeping in there overnight or during the day
when she’s looking for a quiet place to snooze. She is also a fantastic car traveller and enjoys coming
along for the ride.

Tammy typically walks well on leash, she is always up for a nice neighborhood walk or exploring a new
trail. At times, she can be a little reactive when she sees other dogs and has some interest in small
animals such as squirrels, but she responds well to redirection and has been making progress with
positive reinforcement.

Tammy has experience living with other dogs and enjoys their company, although she may need a little
time to feel comfortable with a new canine companion. Once settled, she can happily coexist and even
enjoy some playful interactions. Tammy has also had positive experiences around children and has
shown herself to be gentle and appropriate with younger kids.

Tammy has a history of urinary tract infections and urinary crystals and is currently on a prescription diet
to help manage her urinary health. Her new family should be prepared to continue following her
veterinary recommendations and monitoring her ongoing needs.

Tammy is a loving, gentle girl who has so much to offer. She may need some patience and consistency as
she adjusts to her next chapter, but with a supportive home, positive reinforcement, and lots of love,
Tammy is sure to flourish.
