Introducing … VOLT!
Volt is a sweet and gentle Standard Poodle who is always trying his best to be a good boy! This young
guy has a kind nature and a curious spirit, making him a lovely companion to have around. Volt enjoys
being part of the family, whether he’s spending time with his people, playing with his canine friends, or
quietly taking in the world around him. He has a softer personality and thrives with patience, kindness,
and positive encouragement.
Volt has experience living with other dogs and enjoys having canine companions to share his days with.
He can happily coexist with dogs who prefer their own space, but he also loves a good play session with
a friend who shares his enthusiasm! Volt will do well in a home with another dog, or he’ll be fine as the
only dog soaking up all the attention. He has also had positive experiences with children and approaches
new sights and sounds with gentle curiosity.
Around the house, Volt is a well-mannered guy who settles nicely into his surroundings. He is
comfortable being left home alone, both in and out of his crate, and does well overnight in his crate,
too. He is generally a quiet fellow who isn’t much of a barker. Out on walks, Volt is a pleasure to take
along and enjoys observing the world around him. He also travels well in the car, making him a great
candidate for joining you on your next adventure!
Volt has been diagnosed with mild hip dysplasia in his left hip. At this time, he is not showing any
symptoms, but it will be important for his adopter to maintain his lean, healthy weight to help support
his joint health. Exploring joint-friendly diets or supplements with their veterinarian may also be a good
preventative measure as he grows.
With his gentle personality, easygoing nature, and eagerness to please, Volt has so much to offer his
