Introducing, ZAKI!
This young, loyal guy will keep you on your toes and make sure there’s never a dull moment! He’s a
curious, playful dog who likes to get involved in whatever is going on around him. Zaki forms strong
bonds with his people and enjoys being part of their daily routine. He’s looking for a home that can keep
up with his energy, provide plenty of mental stimulation, and help him channel his busy mind into more
appropriate activities.
Out and about, Zaki enjoys exploring his surroundings and taking in all the interesting sights and smells.
He has a good foundation for leash walking and can be redirected when needed, although he can get
excited when he spots people or other dogs and may need some help keeping his focus. He enjoys
canine company and can play well with appropriate dog friends, but he will need to be the only dog in
his home due to some challenges around sharing food and high-value items.
At home, Zaki is a clever, curious guy who likes to keep himself entertained. If he gets bored, he may
look for his own activities, which can include helping himself to household belongings or investigating
places he shouldn’t! He will benefit from supervision, consistent management, and plenty of
appropriate outlets for his energy and curiosity. Food rewards are a great motivator for him, and
enrichment activities like stuffed Kongs and long-lasting chews can help keep his mind busy.
