Introducing, GIDGET!
Gidget is the definition of a gentle soul! This sweet, sensitive girl has a calm and loving nature that wins people over almost immediately. Everyone who meets her comments on how incredibly sweet she is, and it’s easy to see why. Gidget is happiest when she’s close to her people, whether that’s curling up beside you on the couch, resting her head in your lap, or quietly keeping you company around the house.
Around the home, Gidget has wonderful manners. She is trustworthy when left alone, doesn’t counter
surf, get into the garbage, or steal household items, and she settles beautifully for naps on her own bed.
She’s a quiet companion who rarely barks, even when watching squirrels, birds, or visitors outside the
window. Every now and then she gets a case of the zoomies, and a fenced yard is the perfect place for
her to stretch her legs before returning to her relaxed self.
Gidget is lovely to walk with. She has nice leash manners and is happy to quietly observe the world
around her. She can occasionally be a little cautious when she encounters something unfamiliar and
may need to stop and take it all in, but with a patient handler, a little reassurance, and a tasty treat, she
can regain her confidence.
Gidget enjoys the company of other dogs and loves to play with them. However, Gidget has a history of
resource guarding around other dogs, so she is looking for a home where she can be the only dog. She’ll
thrive as a solo pup where she gets all the love, attention, and yummy treats to herself, while still
enjoying playdates with familiar dogs in her extended family or friend circle.
Gidget is happy to go on adventures, but she sometimes needs a little help getting into the car. She
needs a little patience and encouragement when hopping in but then is happy to settle for the ride.
Gidget is looking for a kind, patient family who will appreciate her gentle heart and can give her the love
she deserves. She would make an incredibly devoted companion and is ready to bring comfort, loyalty,
and lots of cuddles to her forever home
