Introducing, WASHI!
Washi is a sweet and affectionate poodle with a playful, cheeky side that’s sure to make you smile. She’s the kind of dog who loves to be part of whatever her people are doing — whether that’s relaxing around the house or heading out for a walk. Washi walks beautifully on leash and would make a wonderful walking or adventure buddy.
This lovely girl does have a mischievous streak — she’s been known to do a little “counter surfing” when the opportunity presents itself, stealing mainly food items off the counter, and she doesn’t pass up an opportunity to dig in the backyard if left unsupervised. Her recall isn’t always reliable, especially when there are distractions, so a secure space and attentive supervision are best for her outdoor time.
In the past, Washi has shown some signs of separation anxiety, but she’s been making great progress and learning to relax more comfortably in her crate. Above all, she’s a snuggly, loving companion who thrives on being close to her people, so she would prefer to go to a home where there is typically someone around.
