Introducing, LUCA!
Luca is a big, lovable poodle with an even bigger heart. This sweet and social guy is the total package; affectionate, playful, gentle, and always happy to be part of the action. If you’re looking for a dog who wants to be your shadow, Luca is your boy.
At home, Luca is fantastic. He settles beautifully in his crate when needed but is happiest lounging nearby while you work, gently reminding you of his presence with a dramatic yawn, a wagging tail, or a quick kiss. He loves brushing time, cuddles, and being close to his people.
Luca enjoys his daily walks and does very well on leash once he gets his initial excitement out. He can become distracted by other dogs and smaller animals like squirrels or bunnies, barking and trying to pull towards them, but he can be redirected and move past. This is something that his new family will need to continue working on as he settles into a new environment.
He’s social and playful with other dogs, growing up with another poodle in the house. Luca would love to have a canine sibling but would also do just fine on his own. This friendly guy has been around older children and would make a wonderful family dog. As a large poodle, he’d just need some guidance and reminders to be gentle around smaller kids.
Luca can be a bit vocal at times. He’ll let you know if someone is at the door or if he spots something interesting outside. He’s responsive and easily redirected with a simple cue but is something he needs frequently reminders about.
Overall, Luca is a sweet, cuddly, playful companion who thrives on connection and love. He has so much affection to give and would make an incredible addition to a family looking for a loyal, gentle, fun-loving dog.
