affection, or relaxing at your feet, Casper is a wonderful companion who forms strong bonds with those
he loves.
This handsome boy has many great qualities that make him an easy dog to enjoy. He is fantastic in his
crate and settles well, making it a great option for times when he cannot be supervised. Casper also
rides very nicely in the car, making him an excellent companion for road trips, errands, or visits with
family and friends.
Casper enjoys the company of other dogs and genuinely likes making new canine friends. He can be an
enthusiastic and energetic playmate, so he does best with dogs that appreciate his playful style and can
match his energy. Finding compatible playmates will help ensure everyone has a positive experience.
While Casper is a wonderful dog, he does have a few areas where his new family will need to continue
supporting him. On walks, he becomes very excited when he sees other dogs and often wants nothing
more than to go over and say hello. This excitement can lead to pulling, jumping, and occasionally
barking in anticipation. Although his reactions are friendly in nature, they can be challenging to manage,
so Casper would do best with an adopter who has previous dog experience and is committed to
continuing his training using positive reinforcement.
At home, Casper’s curious nature means he has been known to help himself to items that don’t belong
to him. With good management and by keeping tempting objects out of reach, this is something that
can be minimized.
