Olana is a sweet, smart, and affectionate girl who is ready to find a family committed to helping her
become the very best version of herself.
Olana is a lovely dog with an excellent foundation already in place. She gets along wonderfully with
other dogs and would likely enjoy having a canine companion, though she would also be happy soaking
up all the attention as the only dog in the home. When it comes to people, Olana is an absolute
sweetheart. She loves everyone she meets and is happiest when she can curl up beside her humans for
cuddles and affection.
Out and about, Olana is a pleasure to walk. She has beautiful leash manners and is not overly distracted
by the sights and sounds around her, making walks enjoyable and easy. She does love to sniff so she is
always up for an adventure in a new location. She also genuinely loves training and learning new things.
Olana is the kind of dog who thrives when she has opportunities to use her brain, problem-solve, and
work together with her person.
Like many young and clever dogs, Olana does have some home behaviours that will need continued
work. She is known to counter surf and steal items that do not belong to her. One of her favourite
games is turning these moments into a chase, and if the item is interesting enough, she may try to
swallow it quickly, creating a risk of ingestion. Because of this, Olana needs an adopter who is
committed to consistent management, supervision, and ongoing positive reinforcement training.
