Introducing, Quella!
Quella is a total sweetheart with a playful sparkle and a heart of gold. She’s affectionate, gentle, and calm around the house. Whether it’s playtime, learning new tricks, or using her impressive nose, Quella is always up for an adventure! Due to her gentle nature, she does well with people of all ages.
Quella is food-motivated and very eager to learn, making her a joy to train and work with. She walks beautifully on leash (with or without a halti) and is responsive and easy to redirect if she gets distracted. When saying hello to people, she can occasionally get a little bit excited which can result in her jumping up, but she is quick to settle with all 4 paws on the ground. With her medium energy level, she’s happy to relax at home but she will thrive with regular mental and physical outlets. She’d likely shine in agility, trick training, or any activity that lets her show off her brains and athleticism.
She loves to play and does well with other dogs, though she can get a bit intense when she’s having fun and may need a reminder to cool it from time to time. She has great recall and will come barreling towards you when she hears her name called!
Quella is a very determined chewer and must have sturdy, durable toys. Supervision and appropriate chew outlets will be important to keep her happy and safe. She has also been known to ingest other things around the home including garbage, and other soft items. She’s generally comfortable in a crate, though she may voice her opinions if she feels like she’s missing out on the action—classic FOMO (fear of missing out)!
All in all, Quella is truly a lovely girl – sweet, smart, playful, and full of potential. She’s ready to bring love, laughs, and lots of fun to her future home.
